Our dinner destination was Sohji, a Japanese restaurant located right here in San Francisco.
The interior is intimate and cozy, featuring a stylish, modern design. They also have a lovely outdoor patio space, which would be perfect for enjoying a vibrant evening setting when the weather permits.

Once seated, our highly anticipated dishes began to arrive.
1. Sea Urchin Rice Bowl (Uni Don)
As one of their main star dishes, the sea urchin was unbelievably fresh. Rich, creamy, and melting on the tongue, it’s an absolute must-order for any seafood lover.
2. The Signature Fondue Burger
A fondue burger at a Japanese restaurant might sound unexpected, but it is truly a signature creation here. The decadent cheese flavor paired with the juicy patty makes for a uniquely addictive bite.
3. Refreshing Green Tea Beer
The eye-catching green-hued matcha/green tea beer was one of the most memorable highlights of the night. The subtle tea aroma combined with crisp carbonation cleansed the palate perfectly between dishes.
