Hello! Today I’m sharing a little diary from my day near Japantown in San Francisco—filled with shopping, comforting meals, and a touch of personal style.
🥢 San Francisco Food Exploration
Sobakatsu (Soba Restaurant near Japantown)
This cozy spot serves soba noodles made with organic ingredients. There are only a few tables, so the wait can be quite long—but it’s absolutely worth it.
The flavor is clean and delicate, with a sense of craftsmanship in every strand of noodle. It’s not overpowering, but rather thoughtfully balanced and refined.
That said, the tempura was fairly average compared to the noodles, so I’d recommend focusing on enjoying the soba itself.
Sungho (Michelin-Recognized Pork Soup Restaurant)
Located right along the street, this place is easy to miss—but once inside, you’re greeted by a modern and stylish interior. The open kitchen also adds a sense of cleanliness and trust.
- Dwaeji Gukbap (Pork Soup): Rich yet clean, with no unpleasant odor. Comforting with a slightly spicy depth.
- Haejangguk (Hangover Soup): This is what I ordered—mildly spicy, not too salty, and incredibly satisfying.
The jokbal (braised pork feet) at the next table looked amazing, so I’ve already decided that will be my next order!
👗 Outfit of the Day: Effortless Vintage Layering
Today’s look is a mix of my all-time favorite vintage pieces—items I truly love and have worn for years. There’s something special about how clothing ages over time; the natural wear adds character and creates a unique vintage charm.

💡 My Styling Tip
When you wear a T-shirt for a long time, the neckline can stretch out a bit. Instead of throwing it away, try layering it over a white shirt or a basic tee.
The slightly stretched neckline overlaps naturally, creating a more stylish and effortless layered look.
